Five Loves – Analogy of the Seed

With the mind at rest in the unity of Self you are motivated to express that serenity in five spirits of love that define the various dimensions of your personhood.

The instinctive Life Force is centered through its expression as it seeks to fulfill both its destiny and desires. The Analogy of a Seed tells the tale of this cycle of life. A Seed contains all hidden potential energy, that when incorporated with the natural elements and time produces results that are nothing less than astonishing in comparison to its original tiny size.?

The Zen Master said, “Only a genius can see the?flowers from the seed.”?

The same holds true for a little baby held in your arms; what fantastic things she/he is going to accomplish in their lifetime.

So, this little seed has the ability to create a Significant Impression in the world and realize the special/unique gift that we all received from the Divine One on the day of our birth. The greater task is the path of our Life’s Journey; coming to understand all of it and then using it to it optimal potential.

Our gift is most completely expressed in Five Loves that capture the Totality of Self.

We begin where we were formed, in this spiritual Celestial Love from which we extend ourselves beyond our corporeal limitations. This is the realm of the divine and through our spiritual actions, and through the creation of our children, we extend our mortal life to a place beyond our physical term.

Then, there is our Compassionate Love which embraces humanity with the entirety of our warmth and affection. This is a super appreciative love we share with family, close friends and, to a lesser extent, in that charity we bring to the greater community. It works well in concert with our spiritual beliefs, as it is an expression of their values and virtues in action.

Next is our Collaborative Love, which is the greater world of relationships, both personal and professional, where we work in concert with others to achieve collective goals. It is a cooperative love that is mutual/sharing, in which we grow through the productive exchange we develop with other individuals.

Our Creative Love is aspirational, for it expresses a personal journey of Self Discovery/ Knowledge in which we polish our talents to a sparkling brightness. This is a solitary journey where our hardwired need to turn that pile of rocks into a timeless cathedral finds its spark of inspiration.

Finally, there is our Carnal Love which is directed to self-pleasure and satisfying an itch that our DNA possesses that needs to be scratched. It is the most selfish of all the five loves, for as it is all about taking and not giving. It is the wrinkle in our human fabric that requires self-discipline, for its excesses are destructive

Step #4 .. This is the most significant part of our existence in which we release and contribute our SEED to the propagation and creation of our species. To possess Balanced Wellness the individual must authenticate all five of these dimensions.

Celestial Love connects us to Divine Wisdom. Compassionate Love brings our warm embrace into the world. Collaborative Love is our relational contribution with others. Creative Love is the aspiration of Our Best Self to attain a divine-like status on expressing our unique essence and originality. Carnal Love satisfies our procreative and sensatory needs.

In the expression of all these dimensions we fulfill our totality. Each person authenticates these five circles in their own individual manner. I have come to call it your owe Signature Success Recipe…..Your Brand.

Centenarians and Super-Centenarians that live to 110 years old do not credit diet or exercise for their wellness but their psycho-social relational connections

Long after you pass away it will not be the material things that people will remember but how you made them feel.

Herein lies the greatest mental illness in our American Society as we collectively are dismantling these natural human reciprocities which not only weaken the Nation but are progressive move ourselves further and further away from Wellness

House of Energy- perpetual ?motion

Finally we address the most obvious and basic health practices that while they are so fundamental as the building block of Total Wellness require a focused self-discipline…..you got to do the work if you want to get the results.

There are three governing inputs that super-charge physical health

Fuel- Essential Ingredients

Rest- Purposeful Stillness

Motion- Creative Eloquence

Fuel

I have a totally utilitarian approach to anything that enters my body that follows the same strategic perspective of Deposits and Withdrawals.

The dynamic body is a House of Energy where there are Fuels which are the deposits that fortify its functions and there are Inhibitors that drain vitality.

These Inhibitors are just like the Intellectual and Emotion socio-dynamics that are withdrawals that disrupt balance in the collective elements of your wellness.

Nutritious Foods that is well selected and eaten in moderation are dynamic deposits. Everyone needs to find their own success recipe that works for themselves.

My nutritional focus is a diet rich in protein that consumes nothing that creates the conditions of inflammation in my body. No dairy or wheat, small amounts of meat but mostly fish, raw and especially cooked vegetables with lots of different types of beans.

A daily ritual of various teas, good quality dark chocolate and cider vinegars. For my diet these are the Essential Ingredients.

I consume no Inhibitors such as alcohol, drugs or medicine which drain and deplete energy production.

The consistency of maintaining your body chemistry slows the aging process to a crawl and produces abundant immunity wellness.

Step #5…In developing a Wellness Balance Sheet of Fuels and Inhibitors you will discover factors that impact your level of health

Rest ???

More than just sleep the conditions of Rest requires an understanding about Stillness.

While sleep recharges the body the act of Stillness proceeds further to sustain a homeostasis throughout the entire day.

We live with just so much noise all the time. Some of it is environmental but most is self-inflicted. The 24/7 obsession with the iPhone is the basis of just so much unwellness. I do not have an iPhone and limit the time that I interact with electronic media…..not a fan of Blue Light Energy

You would think that this could prevent my participation within the greater scope of society. I meet many thousands of people each year and write more than one hundred thousand words while in contact with associates all over the planet.

It all really comes down to a disciplined time management system that places everything in a consistent space ….every day without exception.

Using the same concept of Deposits and Withdrawals, I am selective of the environments that I choose while adhering to a strict schedule daily.

Noise of any kind is an Inhibitor to energy production as the body must expend valuable energy just to process something that is totally useless. ?

Most older folks do not sleep well yet this activity is critical to balancing neurotransmitters and hormones that impact brain wellness and weight control.

As Ben Franklin said so well…..“Early to Bed and Early to Rise makes a man Healthy Wealthy and Wise.”

I spend at least nine hours at night in various levels of Stillness that may not be sleep but are actions of breathing and recharging my physical self.

Step #6….Develop a Stillness System that limits noise, promotes Unplugged Moments along with a regimented sleep routine.

Motion

Our bodies are hardwired to move and enjoy the action of movement.

Isaac Newton got it right…” A body at rest tends to stay at rest and a body in motion stays in motion.”

Yet just like Stillness is more than just Sleep….Motion is more than just Physical Exercise.

Centenarians credit daily vigorous cognitive activity as a primary aspect of their total physical health.

Another area where our intellectual laziness is not just dumbing down American Society but is a contributing factor in our declining unwellness.

I feel most fortune to at this point in my life to have the luxury of exercising twice a day.

In the morning with the “old guys” stretching, rowing, elliptical and then treadmill all the while the screens pumping out the info from CNN, Fox and Bloomberg that activates lots of excellent discussion. It is a perfect definition of Motion as the Mind and Body awaken to a stimulating experience in a community of people you enjoy being with.

At night it is more lifting and stretching with the younger crew who like watching Jessie and Tucker as we end the day with lots of laughs.

On the occasion that duty calls… I very much miss skipping even one day of my exercise regiment.

My exercise routine is not like those Old Duffers going nuts to break a sweat but consistent purposeful motion that in its cumulative manner builds not only stamina but is the essence of fountain of youthful vitality.

I’m constantly telling people exercise is much more about cumulative consistency than inconsistent intensity.

Step #7…Chart the course of a daily exercise regiment or routine. It does not have to be something grand or extensive but something that brings Motion into your life.

The wellness benefits of this are readily seen in an absence of inflammation, stiffness, greater energy and little if no physical pain at seventy or even eighty years old.

Forever Young….Art of Mindful Longevity

The elements of Balanced Wellness are simple.

It is a matter of mind over matter in starting to improve within the frameworks of the seven steps outlined here.

Yes, it is work but it is an investment in yourself.

Small changes possess the power of great enhancement in the quality of your life

I have not been to a doctor in over fifty years and remember having some Penicillin when I had a earache about sixty years ago....so my Success Recipe works very well for me.

So develop your own Success Recipe for you are special and important to so many people

Stop listening to all the false prophets of wellness.

Find your courage to believe in yourself

We are the change that we seek to find
