Jumping and plodding
Both need the use of your feet.
Plodding requires less effort but it's a drag. It weighs you down and robs you of energy and ingenuity.
Jumping requires more effort but is fun. It means you're feeling light on your feet.
Going from plodding to jumping requires a change in mindset or scenery.
You can't jump every second of the day but you can plod forever if you want to. But if you can jump even for a while, you're better off.
