Jump Start Your Life
A Sixty-Word SZEN Story*:
Over the last couple of years Rick bemoaned the changes in the workplace. He was rarely in the office and the folks remaining were fewer and mostly strangers. He thought about leaving, but the money was good, so he figured he’d play it safe. Then he was let go. His world instantaneously changed, a new chapter began, and he flourished.
And more…
The above scenario is more common that we think. Often when faced with tough decisions, we reach inside to find our own answers and when we tap into our own authentic self, the answers, very often, fill us with confidence, energy, and determination to follow our own path. In other words, a change in plans can be the catalyst that sparks our own greatness. Like Rick in our story, the adage that when one door closes, another one opens is in full play and we have to be willing to walk through the new door. This is the first step in jumpstarting one’s new life.
As I’ve been lucky to work with people and organizations that are going through transition for most of my career, I can report that the moment when we realize what we’re supposed to do next is like a breath from an angel. In that moment we rise to the occasion with a new sense of purpose and power.
Having said that, I am happy to announce that I have expanded from my normal business model and joined the team of I Have the Power (IHTP) as their International Partner. IHTP began in Portugal and for 20 years, this amazing organization has touched the lives of people in over 80 countries with a unique system for personal or corporate development that focuses on the power in each of us to become the best version of ourselves. We have just opened in the United States and our first on-line workshop called “Jump Start Your Life” will be conducted by IHTP CEO and Founder Adelino Cunha on August 19, 2023.
I encourage you to explore the many ways that I Have the Power can help you, or your company be more successful. Here is the link to our U.S. website:??www.ihavethepower.net/usa There is a short video which tells the IHTP story and includes me. Thanks for listening. I welcome your comments.
Szenippet: Even though each decision we make is uniquely our own, it often helps to get some guidance or second opinions from those we trust.
