Gas detection in tunnels and mines
Harmful or potentially explosive gases such as methane or carbon dioxide could be released during drilling and construction processes in tunnels and mines, which is why gas detection in these environments is necessary for worker safety. Major hazards also include oxygen deficiency that could be caused by the accumulation of inert gases or lack of adequate ventilation.
