In our 12-week program,?we?train?#MilitaryVeterans?and?#MilitarySpouses?like Kati Monti, to build lifelong careers accelerating biomedical tech.

"As part of the Spring ’22 ISA cohort, I’ve learned how existing knowledge gaps in businesses surrounding the available funding resources limit biomedical technology and innovation in the military. Our service members deserve the best technology to accomplish their missions and save lives. Military veteran scientific advisors are essential educators and facilitators to fill these gaps. ISA training has provided me with an excellent pathway to continue to serve. I am grateful to be a part of this highly collaborative community." - Kati Monti, Summer Fellow, Army Veteran & Spouse

Thank you Kati we are thrilled to be a part of your future.

ISA's Trained Fellow Takes on Freelance

As one of ISA’s first trained Fellows to take on freelance work, James Northcutt utilized his expertise and familiarity with DoD facility capabilities to rapidly identify and prioritize DoD researchers. He identified multiple niche subject matter experts (in this case with electroencephalography) to engage as a potential collaborative via Cooperative R&D Agreement (CRADA). James rapidly drafted the CRADA to accelerate the development of a dual-use technology that has the potential to positively impact the diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment of personnel with suspected traumatic brain injury (TBI).
