What is a Entra ID?
Microsoft has recently announced that its cloud-based identity provider Azure Active Directory, will now be called Entra ID. Importantly, Microsoft has stressed that this name change will not affect capabilities, licensing plans, sign-in URLs, or APIs, and that this re-branding of Azure Active Directory is a step towards unifying their product names into a consistent product family. Our recent insight walks you through these new and exciting developments around Microsoft Entra and Azure AD, to help you stay up to date on the ever-evolving world of Microsoft.
Have you read out latest client success story?
Client Success Story: Pen testing with geo
Our most recent client success story follows the journey of geo (Green Energy Options), who recognised the constantly evolving cyber threat landscape and the responsibility they had to keep their customers data safe.
Geo turned to Stripe OLT’s CREST certified pen testers, to conduct both a web application pen test, and an external and internal infrastructure pen test. The success of these assessments provided geo with the insight they needed to bolster their security measures and take a pro-active approach to their cyber security, you can discover more about our work with the smart energy specialist on our website.
Best cyber firm – The Sparkies

We had a blast at The Sparkies 2023 last month – taking place at Bath’s Digital Festival, organised by TechSpark UK, this ceremony was there to celebrate and empower the tech game-changers and disruptors of the Southwest. Our team was proud to be named Best Cyber Firm, not to mention our Director of Cyber Security, Ryan Pullen was also nominated for Best Mentor.
Congratulations to all nominees and winners! You can read all about the awards and what this means to us at Stripe OLT here.
The Stripe OLT Summer Do
Last month we headed off into the deepest dark depths of the Bristolian countryside (ok it was only 20 minutes outside of Bristol), for a fantastic day of axe throwing, karting and even bomb disposal??.
It was the perfect opportunity for the team to spend some well-deserved time out to have some fun and let off some steam after our most successful quarter ever. We then headed back to our Bristolian roots for some drinks at a Zero Degrees to gorge on endless pizza and carry on the festivities.
We already can’t wait for our next get together – did we hear someone say Christmas Party?!
