Over the course of time, Google will release many Updates that affect search rankings. One thing to keep in mind is how it will affect your SEO strategies. Since the June Update, many advertisers have seen major changes in Google Rankings - particularly in the health, auto, pet and travel space. As the July Update rolls out this week, rankings are expected to fluctuate as occurred in June - some may even reverse themselves. This means your site will either do better or worse in search results. What can you do? One thing remains to be true: focus on high-quality and relevant content. Some questions to ask yourself are:

Let’s talk about what to do if your rankings are impacted negatively. The first step is to assess your content and compare it to your competitors. In this sense, you can understand how Google is rating your content and get an idea of what the competing content looks like and how many backlinks/articles they are creating. Next, get to know your content E-A-T score. These are guidelines that assess if your content has strong Expertise, Authoritativeness and Trustworthiness. If your content demonstrates this, then it has a good chance of increasing rankings.?
Something to think about when assessing your content is: what would the user think? Are you writing content that aligns with user intent for your product/service? Your main goal should be to align the content with how people search by using relevant information that the user would seek to understand. If this is done well, it will help boost your rankings
