July NM Prayer Connect Newsletter
To ALL The Faithful,
God Is Faithful & Jesus NEVER Fails! After five weeks on the road (6525.2 miles round trip), it's great to be back home in New Mexico. Our first stop from Rio Rancho, NM was Branson, MO, which is clearly one of the most 'christian' cities in our nation. If you ever venture out that way, be sure to see Silver Dollar City, where we attended a Sunday service in a 1700's Church. Our second stop was Crossville, TN (another 'christian' haven), where a Facebook friend from Atlanta, Georgia drove up to spend the night with us. Then we were off to Fayetteville, NC, a military town, where my sister & brother-in-law live and that Sunday we visited Rock Fish Church. From there it was north to Williamsburg, VA, where American History comes alive! New Jersey is our birth state, so we headed for the beach in Atlantic City, saw more family, hit Red Bank (to see more family), stopped to see a grade/high school (Facebook) friend along the way and then on to stay with a friend in Whippany, NJ (where we saw more family & friends). While there we went to Paramus, NJ, fellowshipped at Maranatha Church of the Nazarene, where I was saved in 1982 and licensed to minister in 1984. It was wonderful and refreshing to see Pastor Charlie Rizzo, his sister Jan and others in the congregation, some who I haven't seen in twenty to thirty years Then it was off to NY State to stay with my daughter, son-in-law, two grandsons and their chickens, who live on 65 acres in Middleburgh, a place I had never been to before, because they just moved there last year and for Father's Day we were blessed to witness their whole family being welcomed into their 1700's church. After a week in that beautiful part of NY, we spent the last day together in Cooperstown, before heading back to Jersey. Fortunately we were able to see Rabbi Jonathan Cahn at Beth Israel's Jerusalem Center in Wayne, NJ (I was his Assistant Pastor in the late 1980's to early 1990's), before heading back to New Mexico (you can see pictures of all these places & more on my Facebook page).
I've written all this to say, over the years I have personally found God to be Faithful & True! He continues to do great and mighty things in the lives of believers throughout the world, across this wonderful nation of ours and here in New Mexico. All thirty-three counties here have been united in prayer and focused on revival, because of the tremendous efforts of Pastor Caleb Cooper from Truth or Consequences, NM. Out of the ABQ/Metro area has sprung 24/7 prayer in our state, because of New Mexico Prays https://newmexicoprays.org plus the Roswell area group Christian Body https://christianbody.net and others coming together for God's Kingdom Purposes to happen here on Earth, as it is in Heaven! On July 4th, as you celebrate our independence here in America the Beautiful, thank God for the freedom we have in Christ, Who NEVER Fails. Continue to pray daily and encourage others to join our efforts @ NM Prayer Connect https://nmprayerconnect.org Bring unity, equip others for service in The Kingdom and do your part to fulfill the Great Commission! If you would like to hold a prayer event in your region of the state, do not hesitate to contact me.
Shalom,
