Hello,
Happy summer, although, the weather has been rubbish recently in the UK. One day it's too hot, and the other day it's too cold and rainy. We cannot win.
On that note, England didn't win the Euro Football Cup. They got close, closer than Germany, and they have done well. There can only be one winner, and I think that most would agree that Spain was the best team of the tournament ?
What a lot of people don't know, I started writing content again on my blog over at Obnatus . Topics vary of course, but it's all about personal development, and how you can become the best version of yourself. Also, my YouTube channel started taking shape with a long form video on how to gain clarity . Clarity, perspective and how to move from A to B are the main objectives my coaching clients want to speak about. And whilst I am an executive coach, often I find myself in between life and executive coaching. Did you know what the difference is ??
It doesn't really matter what you call it, it's about creating the best version of yourself to succeed in life and work. And my top three tips for you when you get to a transition point are:
1. Embrace Change with a Positive Mindset Transitions can be challenging, but they also present opportunities for growth and new experiences. Adopting a positive mindset can make a significant difference in how you navigate change.
Stay Open-Minded - Focus on Growth - Positive Self-Talk
2. Create a Plan and Set Goals Having a clear plan and setting achievable goals can provide structure and direction during a period of transition.
Identify Priorities - SMART Goals - Break it Down
3. Seek Support and Stay Connected Having a support system can provide emotional stability and practical assistance as you navigate changes.
Reach Out to Loved Ones - Network and Connect - Consider Professional Help
Transition points in life can be daunting, but embracing change with a positive mindset, setting clear goals, and seeking support can make the process smoother and more manageable. Remember, transitions are opportunities for growth and new beginnings.
The picture is showing me at home, in holiday mode. We are keeping things simple this summer and plan a bigger get away later in the year.
I hope you will get a couple of weeks downtime, a reset, a refresh and quality family time. A good glass of vino, exercise and good food. That's what I am going to do.
Stay well, and let's hope for more sun ??

Our podcast Man Up Man Down focuses on middle aged men and mental health. I am hosting it with my friend David Pawsey.?
