July Newsletter 2024

From Formby to the final frontier…

Our team have certainly been busy making new connections and building new relationships in the last few weeks, and we have been celebrating too, as our COO (Chief Cuddle Officer) Brandi the cavapoo turned eight. She chose Greggs for her birthday breakfast… and who were we to argue!

Earlier in the month, we helped engineering and manufacturing companies reach for the stars at our Space Opportunity event, which was run in association with Space North East England , and we’ve also been visiting new clients in Yorkshire and the West Midlands, as we continue to expand our national reach.

Plus, on 11th July, our team travelled to the Formby Hall Golf Resort and Spa near Liverpool for the Make UK Defence Member Networking Event and Summer?BBQ. The event – which we were co-sponsoring – may not have been bathed in sunshine, but there was plenty of great conversations and fabulous food to make up for it, and as a Fit for Defence partner with Make UK Defence, we were very proud to support the BBQ this year.

David Mills of Quality Bearings Online (pictured above)?was the lucky winner of our Lego Airbus H175 rescue?helicopter?and?we also unveiled our brand new animation at the BBQ, which shows what we do and how we support innovators. You can view it below...

There is plenty more to come from Horizon Works over the rest of the summer, and we hope to see you at our HQ or out and about through July and August.

Have any feedback, or would like to know more about how we can support you? Please?get in touch.
