Our first podcast accredited by the EU-ACME programme!

Podcasts provide a convenient and engaging way for busy urologists to stay informed and continue their education. This new EAU Podcasts series of four, "Andrology Chronicles: Messages for Men's Health " is accredited by the EU-ACME programme, allowing healthcare professionals to earn 1 CME credit after listening to all four episodes and completing a post-test questionnaire. PRAISE-U project presents in Noordwijk

The PRAISE-U (PRostate cancer Awareness and Initiative for Screening in the European Union) consortium has gathered results from the BEST survey and conducted literature reviews to assess the state of PCa screening across the 27 EU Member States. Chair of the Policy Office, Prof. Hein Van Poppel (BE), recently presented the results of this work to representatives of various European National Urological Societies. In the form of country factsheets, he outlined the state of PCa screening by country. Read the report here .


UROonco24 report and webcasts to watch

Key opinion leaders presented critical updates and insights on onco-urological issues at the recent UROonco24 meeting in Budapest. You can read the UROonco24 meeting report highlighting lectures on LG NMIBC treatment, bladder tumour removal techniques, patient engagement in RCC, first-line combination treatments, genomics in advanced prostate cancer, and the EMARK trial on high-risk biochemical recurrence. Advancing genitourinary reconstructive and andrological urology

In this article, Ass. Prof. Gunter De Win (BE) and Prof. Koenraad Van Renterghem (BE) share details on the upcoming Global (ES)GURS-ESAU24 meeting taking place in Antwerp, Belgium from 9 - 11 October, 2024.

The EAU Sections of Genito-Reconstructive Surgeons and Andrological Urology (ESGURS and ESAU) have held section meetings together in recent years, but for 2024 they will also be joined by the US-based Society of Genitourinary Reconstructive Surgeons (GURS).

Ass. Prof. De Win: “Speaking generally, reconstructive urology is inherently diverse: every corner of the world has different pathologies. We all can learn from each other. The global character of this year's meeting will be a real selling point for people to attend.” Read more here .
