In July new changes coming from Google
In July, Google will make speed a ranking factor for mobile search results. This shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone because Google already uses speed to rank desktop searches, and they’ve promised to do the same for mobile for years. Google has emphasized that only pages that “deliver the slowest experience to users” are going to be affected by the update.
Regardless, a 2017 Google study showed that 53% of people leave websites that take longer than three seconds to load. This is a light reminder for webmasters to take all aspect of your website seriously to have the best search ranking.
If your curious or concerned about how the speed ranking update will affect your website, there are test sites you can use that give you information about the speed of your website.
