July E-News: Celebrating Colorado with summer events.

Hello!

We hope you're enjoying this sunny summer season and making the most of everything our state has to offer.?

Our partners at Colorado Open Lands published an amazing Conserved Colorado Summer 2023 Guide outlining products and services from businesses that own and operate on permanently protected land, some of which GOCO’s been proud to support with conservation grants. Find everything from locally grown produce, recreation areas to explore, educational programs, and other opportunities that will spruce up your summer plans while supporting land conservation.?

If that’s not enough to keep you busy, the Governor’s Office presents the second annual Celebrate Colorado, a 10-day event spree to inspire Coloradans to get out into their communities. Over 100 state agencies and organizations are creating free and affordable events for community connection and fun. From July 28 to August 6, check out local farmer's markets, music events, mini-golfing, museums, and just about everything imaginable. Navigate through this map to find events near you. Planning an event that you’d like to promote? Fill out this form.

Speaking of events, Generation Wild’s beloved furry friend Wilder has been attending events across the state encouraging kids and families to get out and explore nature. Most recently, he attended the Colorado Dragon Boat Festival at Sloans Lake. Haven’t had the chance to say hi? There’s still time! Check out this page to see where he’s headed next – Grand Junction, Boulder, and Leadville, we’re looking at you.

Cheers to an awesome summer! Questions or suggestions? Drop us a line at [email protected].?
