Welcome to our latest newsletter for the final quarter! We know we're a little early this time around but we are keen?to wrap up our first?year of operation and have big plans to hit the ground running come September.

1. This Year's Achievements

• This year we teamed up?with 11?different organisations across areas of strategy, coaching and growth.
• We successfully completed and delivered?8 new projects.
• Our team grew from 1?to 4 members!
• We surpassed 600 followers on LinkedIn.
• We collaborated with nooh Studio to create a new service to support organisations in the grassroots sport sector to elevate their purpose.
• We hosted 4 webinars.

2. We Published a New Blog Post

This quarter we published a new blog: The Difference a Year Makes ??

Nicky reflected on various key learnings and the difference the consultancy has made to the grassroots sports sector after a year of business!

3. We Have Been Out and About

Throughout our first year, we attended some great sector events and network opportunities! We love to catch up with friends and colleagues, and to see the amazing work people in the sector continue to do.

• 2-day Laureus Sport for Good Global?Summit at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.?
• The London Youth Games Finals Festival Weekend at the Olympic Park.

• A team development day with This Woman Runs in Reading.
• The The Well HQ 's launch of their bestselling book 'The Female Body Bible'.

4. Our FIFA Women's World Cup Predictions

We have absolutely loved watching the FIFA Women's World Cup this summer and supporting our amazing Lionesses!! ??

Prior to the competition, the team at Nicky Affleck Consultancy were asked by Kinetic Foundation to give their FIFA Women's World Cup predictions!

The government has launched the?a new ￡76m fund for community organisations struggling to meet increased demand or manage increased costs. The fund is administered by the National Lottery Community Fund, with applications open until 16 October 2023.?

The government has announced a?cross-government action plan to provide more pupils with increased opportunities to play sport and take physical exercise during their time in school.
