On this July 4th, let's declare Independence from all that's dividing us!

On this July 4th, let's declare Independence from incivility, intolerance and harassment of political opponents. While we're at it, let's declare independence from demeaning our country's Flag and find other ways to decry racism and bigotry. Let's be independent from name calling and slander. Let's act like we're all in this together. While we can disagree, let's get along as the entire word is watching our democracy. Happy Fourth to Everyone!
