July 2024: Preparation

Introduction

In this article, I’ll share my progress on the tasks I planned for July.

1. Frontend Development Mock Interview

This month, I focused on preparing for a Frontend Development mock interview. I gathered information from various sources to get a comprehensive view of what to expect. Here are the key resources I used:

• Simplilearn: Frontend Developer Interview Questions
• GeeksforGeeks: Top Frontend Developer Interview Questions and Answers

For insights into real-life interviews at big tech companies, I watched a mock interview video by Clement Mihailescu : Google Frontend Interview With A Frontend Expert.

Additionally, I reviewed a Frontend Developer mock interview from Uzbekistan to understand the local interview process and typical questions asked. This helped me gain valuable context and prepare effectively.

2. Personal?Project

In July, I’ve focused on making daily contributions to my GitHub projects. I worked on updating Readme files, removing unnecessary items, and incorporating important changes.

3. My LeetCode?Journey

I solved Daily Challenges on LeetCode every day to keep my skills sharp. These challenges covered various topics such as arrays, strings, heaps, and trees.

4. SWE?Articles

This month, I read Medium articles from people who’ve successfully joined 谷歌 to gather valuable insights and tips. Here are three key tips I found helpful:

• Share Your Knowledge: Create and share technical content (e.g. blog posts) to reinforce learning and showcase expertise.
• Network Strategically: Connect with industry professionals to gain insights and open up opportunities.
• Keep Applying: Persistently apply to top tech companies through various channels, and don’t be discouraged by initial rejections.

5. My July Medium?Article

This month, I began a 4-article series about my recent Study Abroad program in Canada. In the first article of this series, I delve into:

• how I found out about the programme at my university
• how I applied
• the documents I submitted
