Capability Spotlight: HMU 442653

The Honeywell Model is a part of an aircraft engine system. It helps manage the engine fuel flow. Think of it like a smart controller for the engine fuel.

Fuel Flow Control: It adjusts the engine fuel flow based on signals from another control unit (EEC).

EEC’s Role: The EEC figures out how much fuel the engine needs by looking at various engine conditions and sends this information to the HMU.

Servo Positioning: The HMU uses this information to adjust the fuel flow accurately.

Speed Limit: There's a mechanical part in the HMU that makes sure the engine doesn't go over 106% of its maximum speed.

A weekend to remember. We were a proud sponsor at this year's ATSG Tournament in Ohio. We sponsored the cigar bar to generate proceeds to benefit the ATSG Fall Charity Drive.
