?? Ready to blog on TikTok? While not quite blogging (it's more like slightly-enhanced text editing on a Story) TikTok is hoping users will embrace the capability to get a little more verbose on the platform.

TWITTER is in the process of being rebranded to X. You may be noticing the gradual change as the company replaces its iconic bird logo with a black and white “X” as part of a company-wide overhaul led by Elon Musk (Washington Post). The rebranding signifies a new ideological era for the platform, aligning more with Musk's personal ideology (Social Media Today). In addition, X limited the number of tweets users can read in a day, with different limits for verified and unverified accounts (BBC News).
META is now offering a cheaper package deal for Facebook Blue (Social Media Today). Users can now get a discount if they get verified on both Facebook and Instagram platforms—a move that could help boost the number of verified users and increase user engagement. Meanwhile, Meta and Microsoft have introduced the next generation of Llama, the large language model (LLM) that promises to enhance user experience through AI (Meta Newsroom).
INSTAGRAM is expanding its Subscription feature to more creators, providing them with a new way to earn recurring monthly income (Instagram Blog).
TIKTOK has launched the Elevate program to celebrate emerging music artists, providing them with a platform to showcase their talent (TikTok Newsroom). The platform has also introduced a transparent ads library to provide more transparency in its advertising practices (LinkedIn News), similar to Meta's Ad Library Report tool.
SNAPCHAT has introduced a new 3D style for Bitmoji, giving users more ways to express themselves (Snap Inc. Newsroom).
LINKEDIN rolled out new features to help marketers, including a B2B storefront, AI-powered Ads, and In-stream video, to enhance their marketing strategies (Building LinkedIn).
