THE VOICE: SURVEY OF MEMBERS?

Australia is having a conversation about the Voice referendum and the Committee for Brisbane is surveying its members to ask “how informed are you?”.?

The Committee provides a platform for robust discourse and debate on big ideas and issues shaping our region.?

In late 2023, Australians will have their say in a referendum about whether to change the Constitution to recognise the First Peoples of Australia by establishing an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice.?

The Voice to Parliament will be a permanent body to make representations to the Australian Parliament and the Executive Government on legislation and policy of significance to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.?

In the lead-up to the referendum, the Committee is asking “what do you need to know to be fully informed?”, prior to casting your vote.?

Any CFB Member who would like to participate in the survey – but has not received the survey link – is invited to contact us [email protected]?

There is a home for everyone in south east Queensland, supported by an Olympics and Paralympics Housing Trust that repurposes Games’ infrastructure for social and affordable housing. This may include post-Games building conversions or the sale or leasing of Games’ assets to fund housing programs.?
