Notification of Successful Completion of Projects Delivered This Month;

1 / Engineering Excellence Achieved: Successful Pressure Vessel Project in Germany

We successfully executed a project for a customer in Germany involving two #PressureVessels . One vessel took the form of a serpentine-shaped cooler, while the other served as a receiver for storage and transfer.?

These vessels were constructed using SA 312 TP 304 / SA 240 Gr. 304 materials. In the sugar industry, the serpentine vessel was equipped with a mixer to cool and transfer hot sugar to a #storagetank .

The project adhered to the rigorous standards of #ASME Sec VIII Div 1.

In addition to our project responsibilities, we also managed the transportation #logistics . We arranged the shipment from #Hamburg and successfully delivered it. Together, let's forge a future of excellence!

2 / Project Accomplished: Manufacturing and Delivering Essential Equipment for a Philippine Refinery

We are excited to share the news of the successful accomplishment of our most recent project for a highly valued client in the Philippines.

Our team's extensive efforts involved the manufacturing and delivery of crucial equipment for the refinery situated in Limay, Bataan. This encompassed the production and timely delivery of a #PigLauncher (10"x8"), a #PigReceiver equipped with skids (10"x8"), and all the necessary accompanying accessories.

Furthermore, we provided a #PigTrolley and a #JibCrane to offer comprehensive support for refinery operations.

The project design strictly adhered to the #ASME Sec.VIII Div.1 / ASME B31.4 standard, guaranteeing full compliance with the prevailing regulations and industry standards.

We take immense pride in being selected by our esteemed customers for this significant project, and we are absolutely thrilled to have successfully fulfilled all their requirements.

1/ OEUK: Climate Change Committee recommendations will create “home-grown” energy crisis

The UK’s failures to build enough low-carbon sources of electricity, plus proposals to halt North Sea oil and gas exploration, will put the nation at ever-greater risk of a new energy crisis, Offshore Energies UK’s chief executive has warned.

David Whitehouse’s comments follow publication of the Climate Change Committee’s annual ‘Progress in Reducing Emissions Report’ for 2023. The report calls for a moratorium on airport expansion, a nine-fold increase in the rate at which heat pumps are installed in homes and a doubling of tree planting.

Crucially, it also warns that the UK is failing to build enough sources of low-carbon electricity. It points out that the UK would need to quadruple low-carbon power generation in just the next seven years to meet the UK’s emission reduction targets. This is because 42% of UK electricity currently comes from gas-fired power stations, and because surging sales of electric vehicles and other electric will rapidly push up demand.

The report also accuses the UK government of “backtracking on fossil fuel commitments” because of its support for continued UK oil and gas production and criticizes it for “losing its clear global leadership position on climate action.”

2 / Summit Carbon Solutions, Absolute Energy partner to reduce carbon footprints of ethanol plants

Summit Carbon Solutions announced a new partnership with Absolute Energy, an ethanol plant located in Saint Ansgar, Iowa.?Absolute Energy, which commenced operations in 2008 and produces approximately 130 million gallons per year of ethanol, joins an expanding network of leading ethanol plants as partners in the transformative carbon capture and storage project led by Summit Carbon Solutions.

Summit Carbon Solutions is spearheading the development of the world's largest carbon capture and storage project, which upon completion will permanently and safely sequester up to 18 million metric tons of carbon dioxide each year. The project, extending through Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota, and North Dakota, significantly reduces the carbon footprint of participating ethanol plants and opens new market opportunities.

Summit's partnership with Absolute Energy will result in the removal and permanent storage of 370,000 metric tons of CO2 per year and builds on recent momentum, including a new partnership with NuGen Energy, a South Dakota producer, and having successfully acquired 70% of its pipeline route through voluntary easements with nearly 2,500 landowners. These achievements underline Summit's strong community support and shared vision for sustainable agriculture and energy production.
