Prices across different fuel stations across the UAE are similar and there are no differences. Getting a full tank of fuel for your car has now become ever so slightly more expensive. One would have to shell out between AED 2 & AED 4 more for a full tank, depending on the size of the tank. However, the per kilometre running costs do not increase by significant margins.

Before 2015, fuel prices were highly subsidised by the government, and this protected prices from fluctuating. However, in September 2015, it was liberalised to align with global oil prices. Fuel prices in the UAE are decided by the Fuel Price Committee and we can expect more changes over the next few months.
