The Flora May Foundation
Helping Parents with At-risk Adolescents (mental health and substance abuse)
This year we’re grateful for the grants, donations, awards & new partners The Flora May Foundation has gained. Our highest honor was receiving the American Business Award Silver Stevie for “2022’s Outstanding Non Profit”! To be recognized by our peers is exciting and we’re grateful to the AMA’s for the award. We’ve proud to share our new alliances with other non profits!
Working Women Winning (WWW) is our work reentry/upskilling program. What is WWW? It’s an 8 week in-person certificate course for women who’ve been out of the workforce for an extended period of time or who are interested in learning about STEM/STEAM careers, popular business software, Zoom, coding and careers typically male-dominated. FMF is actively searching and applying for grants to cover the costs of loaner laptops and new interview clothing for participants. We’d be grateful for any tips to apply for grants we may not be aware of!! That’s as good as a donation! ??
Be safe, think smart, stay healthy and make the world a little better today.
