Silakbo is inspired by the meeting of the heavens and the waters of Balabac town in Palawan. At night, the town is gifted with majestic natural light sources, the moonlight, stars, and the planktons that draw lights from the sky. Seeing the waves carry the illuminated planktons to the shore is like leading the eyes to go to Silakbo. The facade’s massive windows, towering structure, and homey ambiance embody Filipino cordiality and hospitality or the attitude of being “magiliw sa bisita.”

The interior’s vernacular design is a marriage of the past and the present dining setup. It speaks of Filipinos' love for food and family gatherings.
