Nothing was accomplished this month… and that was totally on purpose.? People need time to rest, time to reflect, time to just do nothing and enjoy looking out the window watching the butterflies, bunnies, and bobcats.

Audit Analytics Consulting

Throughout my career, I've bounced between audit and other analytical roles multiple times. Each time I make a change, I manage to get pulled back into audit like a strange magnetic force I can't resist. I think it's because I love the structured, rule-bound world of audit.

This happens every couple of years, like clockwork, and alas that time has come again.? Instead of fighting the force, this time I'm embracing it differently and diving into consulting.

Here’s what I'm bringing to the table ??

I can help internal audit teams supplement their audit processes with data analytics, making planning, testing, and reporting more efficient. No more spending days manually sorting the data to get to a population or judgmentally selecting samples to perform tests. With today's landscape, we need to be able to free ourselves up for the more important tasks as an auditor, like risk mitigation.

I’ve successfully guided other audit departments in adopting data analytics, and I’m eager to help more teams embrace a data-driven approach.
