Got this insight (rather clarity) yesterday:
Imagine you are bating (in cricket) and about to face 6 balls. Now, which of those 6 balls to hit aggressively is a matter of Judgment. And, how to hit those chosen balls is a matter of Technique.
- Judgment can often not be defined by a set of rules
- Technique is based on science (e.g. Kinetic chain). Hence, it needs to be respected. No subjectivity here!
- Techniques can be more than one (e.g. Bradman stance vs Straight-bat). And choice of technique is a matter of Judgment (e.g. Mohammad Ali's boxing style)!
