Judging people... is a difficult task
In this high tech world, everything has become simple. Forecasting weather is easy, predicting future profits is easy, guessing the winner is easy but ‘Judging People’ today also is a tough task.
What a person actually is and how he/she behaves sometimes contradicts.
In corporate world ‘Interview’ is the time to judge a candidate. It is the responsibility of the interviewer that the right person comes inside. In interview we get to know the 'inner view' of the candidate but... this fact also can't be ignored that interview is a planned thing . Candidate perfectly knows how to behave, how to sit, how to talk, how to articulate. No one wants to lose an opportunity so a candidate’s maximum effort is to clear the screening process.
The behavior of the candidate at the time of interview and in the initial days of joining is the best version of his/her character because it is not actual, it is made, and it is forced. The true picture is revealed when the work actually starts and the new candidate becomes familiar with the Co.’s environment.
As the interviewers are the team of experts, in most of the cases, the performance of the candidate is as per the expectations but in some cases, it is not and it becomes a ‘Recruitment Blunder’. Though the big companies are adopting various practical methods to judge a candidate’s mind still no one except God and person self can understand what is going in the mind, what actually are the intentions of a person.
So, we all must behave as we are, with no outer polishing, No fakeness. It will really help us to make our complex life simpler and others also will not feel complications in understanding our attitude and personality.
Be the type of person that no matter where you are, you always add vale to the lives of those around you.
