Some say move quietly while planning. Let your results speak for you. Some plan in the open, hoping to inspire others to chase their dreams. And then there’s me, just here to observe. But while I’m observing, can you think about what you would like to do?

You see, everyone can shape the story they tell. Stories are powerful, they let us explain, validate, or even spin things to suit our goals. The big question is, do you pick a side to defend? Or do you ask enough questions to see through all the angles? At the end of the day, you decide which path feels right for you.

Now, here’s where things get interesting. What does all of this have to do with being a judge, an ambassador, or an applicant? They’re choices about what role you would play in this story.

Planning in the Open

In this case, I want to make semi-open plans. Not because I want applause, but because sharing can make dreams real. And sometimes, it sparks something amazing in others too. My entrepreneurial journey started when I was still a student. Back then, it was all about trying different things, for the fun of it and also because there was the notion of building a business. I wasn’t alone; friends like Richard Okiasi , Victor Onochie , and so many others were right there, dreaming big and trying different things.

Fast forward to 2025, my team and I are working on something exciting. A pitch competition. We’re building it to contribute to the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Nigeria. It’s not just a competition; it’s a stage for ideas, a spotlight for dreamers, and a network for doers.

Now, here’s where it circles back to you.

Choosing Your Role

Imagine my dream becomes a reality. A room full of innovators pitching bold ideas. Teams brainstorming solutions that could change industries or even lives. And you’re there. But… who are you in this story?
