A New Chapter Begins

We bid a fond farewell to our Dundrum offices and commenced a new chapter at our new headquarters in the Termini Building, Sandyford - a LEED Gold-certified facility.

Our contact details, including phone numbers and email addresses, remain unchanged.

The move reflects our commitment to excellence, innovation, and sustainability, providing our team with a workspace designed to support us as we continue to go further and build smarter across all our projects.

Ivan Webb Scholarship Foundation Award

We are immensely proud of Sandra Keenan (Assistant Contract Surveyor at John Paul Construction) who won the Ivan Webb Scholarship Foundation Award, for successful completion of her part-time course resulting in a Bachelor of Science in Quantity Surveying and Construction Economics from Technological University Dublin (TUD).

Taking on her studies through John Paul Construction’s Graduate Development Programme and our “Earn and Learn” initiative, Sandra’s success is testament to her great commitment.

Sandra was presented with the award at The Master Builders' and Contractors' Association Dinner at the Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road.

Speaking of her win, Sandra added, ‘I have a lot of people to thank in John Paul Construction, the support has been unbelievable’.

Sandra hopes to attain her Chartership in the coming years, but is now taking some brief time away as she recently welcomed her first child. Huge congratulations to Sandra, and we look forward to seeing where her career takes her next. World Quality Week

We were delighted to take part in World Quality Week (11th - 15th November) and shining a spotlight on the theme: “Quality: From Compliance to Performance” through a dynamic Speaker Series and site visits.

Monday: Bruna Alves (Project Quality Lead) and Domnic Barr (MEP Lead) kicked off with insights on ITP optimisation and a new MEP technology tool at our Galway Med-Tech project.

Tuesday: Oscar Young (Site Engineer) shared a case study in Kilkenny on using integrated survey tools for earthworks.

Wednesday: At our Frankfurt data centre project, Kevin Becker Ramos (Project Quality Lead) highlighted cross-border best practices, while Claire Cox (Quality Manager) joined the site team for their daily inspections, supporting them in verifying the accuracy of blockwork positioning, plumb, and level.

Thursday: The series concluded in Drogheda, with the team focusing their Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) development and how they will leverage these tools to bring Quality from Compliance to Performance right from the project’s outset.

A fantastic week showcasing innovation and teamwork in driving quality excellence.

Team Day - Planning Department

Our Planning Team came together for a collaborative off-site team day focused on department targets and future goals.

We were grateful to have Carl Kelly from Strata join us to share insights into their schedule tracking and VDC work. Our HR Director, Helen Forbes also led a great session on team building and how different working styles create a dynamic team environment.

Milestone achieved at the Carriageworks Residential Development

We were delighted to share that we topped out Building C1 after just 11 months, the first of eight blocks. Once complete, the development will offer 508 studios and one-bed units, 179 two-bed apartments, and 15 three-bed apartments, with an 18-storey landmark tower.

A big thank you again to our client Eagle Street Partners, our design team, and supply chain for their collaboration and commitment. Looking forward to the next stages.

HomeSafe for Christmas

For the last week in November, we commenced our annual HomeSafe for Christmas Campaign. There are so many additional pressures and distractions in the weeks coming up to the holidays, so it’s essential there is an additional focus on health, safety and wellbeing.

The campaign helps us double down on our WorkSafe HomeSafe commitment to ensure that everyone across our projects gets HomeSafe for Christmas.
