The Joys and Dynamics of being more Connected (within yourself)

Lately, I’ve been chatting with a few clients about a dynamic that tends to crop up once you start effectively managing your energy field. You begin to notice the subtle differences in how you feel – especially when you’re slightly off balance versus when you’re in complete harmony with yourself. It gets WAY more noticeable when you’re operating from a place of true alignment – when you’re grounded, connected, and functioning at your full capacity. And when you’re not!
Catch my recent video about this here.
Recognising the Discomfort of Misalignment
Here’s the thing: as you become more attuned to what alignment feels like, you also start to recognise the discomfort of being out of it. In fact, it can feel even more uncomfortable than it used to.
Why?
Because once you’ve experienced the joy of being truly connected – almost like being plugged into the universe and the Earth – going back to the old ways just doesn’t cut it anymore.
Many of us have been there: just pushing through our day, even if we’re feeling a bit off. We used to just grit our teeth and keep going, right? Even when we didn’t feel particularly solid or steady. But now, there’s a growing awareness that we don’t want to just push through. We don’t want to tackle a challenging situation or have an important conversation with a colleague, team member, or business partner without being in our full alignment.
The Importance of Alignment in Everyday Interactions
We’re becoming less tolerant of being out of alignment, and that’s actually a good problem to have. It means we’re more committed to showing up as the best versions of ourselves. However, this awareness also brings about a certain discomfort when we aren’t in that beautifully aligned state. It feels more uncomfortable now than it might have in the past, simply because we know how amazing it feels to be in alignment.
Alignment gets Addictive
Here’s another interesting dynamic: being in alignment feels so good that it becomes almost addictive! I was just saying this morning that I find myself wanting to stay in that aligned state as much as possible. Even when I’m tempted to dive straight into my day’s tasks, I catch myself (well, most of the time!) and make sure I’m fully centered before moving forward.
It’s become a habit to pause, ground myself, and reconnect with my intuition before jumping into the day. And when I do, I notice that everything flows more naturally. Every conversation, every task, every session with a client just unfolds with ease because I’m so connected and tuned in.

The Benefits of Staying in Alignment
Operating from a place of alignment isn’t just about feeling good in the moment. It has long-lasting benefits throughout the day. You don’t end the day feeling drained or worn out because you’ve been drawing on your true capacity – your deep connection to yourself and your intuition. It’s a place of immense power and presence, and it allows you to bring your best self to every interaction.
So, if you’re noticing this shift within yourself, take it as a sign that you’re on the right path. Keep building that connection and make it a morning practice to align yourself. When you do, you set the stage for a day filled with flow, ease, and the highest expression of who you truly are.
This is my wish for you: that you continue to cultivate this alignment and step into the full capacity of your being.
