## The Joy of Tech Spirit: HAVANA ’24 Fest

The Joy of Tech Spirit, a flagship event of the Hyderabad campus, is a national inter-collegiate tech fest prepared and organized by the faculties and students of G-Electra club of GITAM at Hyderabad. In a world driven by innovation, the HAVANA emerges as a beacon, drawing together the brightest minds, industry leaders, and technology enthusiasts for an exciting rollercoaster of competitions and activities from February 22nd to 23rd, 2024, G-Electra (Smart Systems Club) hosted its highly anticipated national annual tech fest, “HAVANA’24 – The Joy of Tech Spirit” at GITAM, Hyderabad campus.

The two-day extravaganza attracted students and tech enthusiasts from various colleges across India for a day of fun, tech-equipped activities, and competitions. This tech fest provided young tech geeks an opportunity to showcase their talent, test their projects on a wider scale, engage with industrial professionals, and interact with like-minded peers.The event was graced by many distinct honorary personalities who shared their journey, experiences, and motivated the attendees to achieve further and higher in diverse technological aspects.

Our Project Expo was filled with creative, enthusiastic, and brilliant minds who came together to present their groundbreaking projects. The explanations provided by the participants were nothing short of phenomenal. Each project showcased top-notch quality, leaving the judges highly impressed with their performance. The enthusiasm was contagious, with participants eagerly exploring and learning from each other’s projects.

Codeathon: Igniting the Flame of Problem-Solving

The Codeathon was a good opportunity for intellectual individuals tackling challenging case studies. Participants had the freedom to choose any programming language to solve these problems, allowing for a diverse range of solutions. This event ignited their inner fire, pushing them to think critically and come up with innovative solutions. The atmosphere was electric, with coders deeply immersed in their work, striving to outdo themselves.

We organized a Robo Race, This competition tested the robots' skills in navigating and overcoming hurdles that we strategically placed along the track. It was a thrilling event, showcasing the advanced capabilities of the robots and the ingenuity of their creator.

Taking the excitement up , we had Robo Soccer, where manually designed robots competed in an arena specially designed for playing soccer. Watching these robots play soccer was a sight to behold, with each team showcasing their technical prowess and strategic thinking.

?24-Hour Techathon: A Marathon of Innovation

This was the 24-hour Techathon, a true test of endurance and creativity. Participants worked tirelessly for 24 hours, developing solutions for the problems we provided.The competition was fierce, but the camaraderie and collaborative spirit were even more remarkable. The solutions that emerged were innovative and inspiring, highlighting the incredible talent and dedication of the participants.

E-sports: Battle of the Digital Titans

This event featuring BGMI, Free Fire, and COD, encouraging gamers to choose their preferred battleground and compete. This event was a delightful spectacle, attracting passionate gamers from all corners of the country and creating an unforgettable experience for all involved. The spirit of competition and camaraderie filled the air, making it a true celebration of gaming culture.
