I have always been a wonderer, always wondering what's down that path, what’s this road leading to. I think roads and trails have a spiritual quality. We are all on a road in life. The path may be difficult or easy or dangerous or beautiful. Many times the destination is really not as impactful as the journey getting there. We get so focused on the destination that we miss the joy of the journey. The same could be said about life. As a photographer I have collected images of these trails and roads in all seasons and times. They all lead somewhere but, the point is the beauty of the journey. Something we tend to take for granted. This October I will be having a photography show at Artworks in Richmond with 12 photographs of roads trails and pathways. Reception is October 23rd at 6pm.
