A Journey into Wordpress

Ok, I'm about to admit something big.... I've had a Wordpress site (two actually) for at least five years now and I still don't really know how to use it. Sure, I can grab a Theme, sprinkle in some Plug-ins etc. but we all know that not really the same thing.
So, with the ink still drying on my "Fresh start for 2018" motto, I've decided to finally take a jorney of discovery into Wordpress-land. I'm going to snuggle up each night and read the Wordpress Codex like a bedtime story (I've been having trouble sleeping, so two birds....).
So, I thought I would aim to do a short series of the 'ah ha' moments, like when you finally find that secret menu in WorkflowMax to change the Job prefix and numbering sequence that has actually been starting you in the face for a month.
I'll try not to waffle. I love to write, but I'm a bit out of practice. My dad actually tried to convince me back in 2001 that I should learn how to blog. He is a total ahead of the curve innovator. I, apparently, have some Laggard tenancies. I scoffed at this new 'trend' while holding onto my precious zip drives (remember those? Yep I was all in, USB sticks definitely wouldn't last).
Anyways, that's the long winded way of saying this is my second blog article ever. The first one was last year, when I thought I would write a quirky little piece about all the judgy-rageness of the latest iPhone. If you found that article amusing, then maybe you'll like this series. Feedback and thoughts always welcome of course!
