The Journey that turned it around

The Journey that turned it around

Once upon a time, there was a young entrepreneur named John. John had always dreamed of starting his own business, and after years of hard work and perseverance, he finally did. He was passionate about his business and was determined to make it a success. *(that is a good start).

At first, everything seemed to be going well. John was putting in long hours and working hard to grow his business. He was creating social media posts, hosting webinars, writing newsletters, and answering emails and a whole lot more.

But as time went on, John began to feel overwhelmed. He was constantly on the go, and there never seemed to be enough time in the day to get everything done. (Does this sound familiar? I use to relate a lot)

John's business was growing, but at a cost. He was missing out on quality time with his family and friends, and he was constantly stressed and exhausted. He was even considering quitting his business because he felt like he couldn't keep up with the demands of running it. (that would be such a tragedy, because there are people out there that need YOUR help and no one else can deliver it the way you do...press on by reading on...)

Despite his struggles, John refused to give up. He knew that his business was his passion, and he was determined to make it work. (good choice) So, he decided to seek help (smart move indeed).

He reached out to a business coach who specializes in activity management and results, and together they came up with a plan to help John better manage his time and grow his business.

The first step they took was to create a schedule. John was used to working long hours, and the coach helped him to see that he needed to set boundaries and make sure he had time for rest and relaxation (re-read the last sentence, it is so important).

Together, they created a schedule that allowed John to work on his business during the day, and then have time for himself and his family in the evening. This helped John to feel more in control of his time and less stressed. And THAT is why he started it in the first place - can you relate?

The next step they took was to delegate some of the tasks that were taking up John's time. John realized that he didn't have to do everything himself, and that he could outsource some of the less important tasks to others (this step is really liberating).

He found a lower wage outsource person who was able to handle some of the tasks that were taking up his time, such as social media post, newsletter writing, and email answering, just to name a few of those time suckers.

This freed up John's time to focus on the tasks that were most important to the growth of his business.

The final step was to focus on his greatest talents and abilities. John had always been great at networking, and he realized that this was one of the things that really moved the needle for his business (you need to find out yours). So, he decided to focus on networking and building relationships with other entrepreneurs and business owners. This helped to grow his business and bring in new clients (That is life changing).

With these changes in place, John was finally able to achieve the balance he needed to make his business a success. He was able to work on his business during the day, and then have time for himself and his family in the evening. He was less stressed and more in control of his time, and he was able to grow his business by focusing on the things that really mattered.

John's story is a reminder that success doesn't come easy, and that it often comes with struggles and challenges. But with the right mindset and the right tools, it is possible to overcome those challenges and achieve the success you desire. John's breakthroughs with a better structured schedule, some delegation of important tasks to a lower wage outsource person and using his own greatest talent and ability to do efficiently what he's are good at and focusing only on the activities that really move the needle to create great results, it was the key for him to be a successful entrepreneur without sacrificing his personal life.

In conclusion, hidden challenges are the biggest obstacles to business success. They are the invisible roadblocks that keep us from reaching our full potential. These challenges can be difficult to identify on our own, as they are often rooted in our blind spots. This is why it is essential to seek out outside perspectives to help identify and eliminate these obstacles. With the help of an outside expert, you can uncover the hidden challenges that are holding you back and take action to overcome them. This will not only help you achieve faster growth and success, but it will also free up more time to enjoy the fruits of your labor. Don't let hidden challenges hold you back any longer.
