Journey Through Science and Innovation

As 2023 draws to a close, I find myself reflecting on my journey of the past eleven years. A journey that has seen me traverse the globe as an advocate for science, bridging the gap between academia, industry, and large-scale research infrastructure.

Less than two years ago, I relocated to Denmark, stepping into an exciting new chapter of my life. I joined a growing team at Teknologisk Institut, eager to face and lead the challenges that lay ahead of us.

The year 2023 has been one of addressing societal challenges, unlocking opportunities for scientific advancements, and driving scientific innovation for the benefit of society and future generations.

I am thankful for the incredible colleagues I have met along the way, those from whom I have learned so much. Their warmth and acceptance made my transition to a new country, city, and workplace feel like coming home.

To all my colleagues and friends thank you for a remarkable year. As we move forward into 2024, I look forward to our continued work in Scandinavia. Let's harness the power of the synchrotron and neutron facilities in EU to create a brighter future for all of us.

Let's continue to drive innovation, tackle societal issues, and push the boundaries of what we can achieve in science. Onward to 2024!
