The Journey So Far...

Welcome back to the next instalment of the Fidaris Newsletter!?

Firstly, I would like to take this opportunity to wish you a very Happy and Prosperous New Year. Even with all the doom and gloom printed, 2023 is shaping up to be a great year even just a few days in. And I would also like to thank our clients, candidates and partners for their support last year.

In this first edition of 2023, I wanted to take you on a journey. Giving some insight to the milestones in 2022, but also what the business has planned for 2023 and beyond. So sit back and enjoy!

January 2022

The business is born! But not as we know it now. Having thought about going on my own for a while, January 2022 presented the opportunity and I grabbed it with both hands.?

Our first name, Tech94 recruitment (not the best name) was founded to support tech clients mostly in London. However, a few months in I found myself supporting more and more local clients, bringing back a number of old relationships!

In the first 8 months between starting and the next part of our journey, there were some very dark days. Doubts about my ability and somewhat imposter syndrome selling clients the dream.

However, I had 2 options: keep battling or quit. Well, considering you are reading this I chose the first option!

September 2022?

The team expanded!

Being a lone ranger was only going to take the business so far. In steps Liam Flegg as our Head of Technical Recruitment, Director and general sourcing master.?

Liam is someone I had worked with before and hired into a previous business so knew how good he was. The impact he has had since contributed to us having an amazing end to the year, and really starting 2023 on the best foot.?

His role will change over time, focusing on supporting our growth and development across new markets, whilst also keeping me in check!?

November 2022?

We rebranded! Yes, 10 months into our journey we went for a new name, logo, colour scheme and even approach to what we were trying to achieve within the recruitment and people space

Why?

Simply, we spotted a gap and thought we could develop a better relationship and service offering to maximise the value that we add to our clients. This is why Fidaris was born.?

What is Fidaris?

Fidaris in Corsican means “trust me”, and we know that in the world of recruitment and professional services, trust is key. With a new focus moving forward, we believed this really embodied our new mission and goals.

If the rebrand taught us anything, it was more about our WHY, and what we were really trying to achieve. Even with the first 10 months of trading, it was clear we wanted to offer more.

2023 - What does the year have in store for us?

As we move into the new year we have some amazing plans in the pipeline, which include further talks with some large-scale accelerator programmes in London, supporting upcoming entrepreneurs. Building new partnerships with other recruiters and professional services providers, whilst also being firmly focused on growing our team.?

Next week we launch our latest addition to the group Lemon Jelly. Which is aimed at our Web3, Crypto and Blockchain clients, providing effective people-consultancy services.?
