Journey of a Paw-sitive Woman

After work, my day revolves around my dogs, my beloved fur babies. I've fully embraced the hybrid setup, mainly because it allows me to have them by my side when I work from home. On weekends, my kids and I love strolling around the neighborhood with our furry companions. Seeing them enjoy every moment brings us immense joy. Taking them to the groomers and vet appointments is also something I cherish, even if it means occasionally trying my hand at giving them baths myself.

During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, when everything felt bleak and uncertain, our six Shih Tzus became our ray of light. Amidst the challenges, it was our dogs who provided us with unconditional love, happiness, and blessings. We took advantage of the time bonding, cuddling, and feeding them. Their happiness, barks, and their hugs meant so much to us. Little by little, we did not feel the sadness.

Navigating this journey, I've learned the most empowering lessons from juggling my career and my responsibilities as a Fur Mom. Patience and resilience are traits I've inherited from observing my pets; they take their time and remain resilient in stressful situations.

As I reflect on this, transitioning to Asticom marked a significant change from my previous work experiences, but it's been a rewarding journey. Asticom not only taught me valuable skills in my field but also instilled in me the importance of patience and empathy. The leadership model here is empowering and supportive, creating a culture that encourages growth and is outcome-focused, but still warm, supportive, and fun. Asticom has provided me with opportunities to expand my skills and grow both personally and professionally, and I'm grateful to have found a home here.

In addition to my professional growth, I also make it a point to travel with my dogs whenever and wherever I can, knowing that their time with us is limited. As the saying goes, life's journey is sweeter when shared with a dog.

Living by the mantra of bark, play, and love, my dogs remind me daily to embrace life with enthusiasm and positivity. Taking advice from our furry friends, I aim to unleash my talents, seek joy in everyday moments, build meaningful connections, and love unconditionally.
