Journey to LogRocket: Sales Spotlights
Given the tremendous amount of growth we have seen at LogRocket over the past couple of years, we wanted to highlight our team members’ journeys in becoming LogRocketeers. This week’s spotlight is on Siobhan Buckley and Jackson Bartlett , who are both Sales Development Representatives on the Sales Team. By sitting down with them one on one, we gained insight into their day to day responsibilities and how LogRocket helps them grow, both personally and professionally.
Siobhan Buckley joined LogRocket in June 2021. As she transitioned from being a fresh college graduate to a full time working professional, Siobhan knew she wanted to work at a tech start-up. Given that she studied Information Systems, LogRocket seemed compelling to her as this was a technical product she could get behind.?

Similar to Siobhan, Jackson was drawn to the potential of growth in a fast-paced startup. His journey to discover LogRocket was slightly different from Siobhan’s. It wasn’t until Jackson’s junior year of college that he decided that pursuing a career in STEM was maybe not where he wanted to go. In his final year of college, he took a few business courses, leading him to realize the art of selling was a path worth exploring. After stumbling across LogRocket’s profile on BuiltInBoston , Jackson knew LogRocket would be the right fit for him. Jackson joined LogRocket in June of 2021.

What made you choose a career in sales??
Given her passion for interpersonal communication and her ability to collaborate with others to create solutions, sales in SaaS became the perfect career path for Siobhan.

What do you love about LogRocket?
No matter how great the product, what makes a company great is the passion behind the people and the culture. These components are what create a healthy and positive work environment that both Soibhan and Jackson were looking for when they first embarked on their job search.

Describe LogRocket culture?
With such an open and supportive environment, Siobhan and Jackson found it easy to work on new projects and excel in their roles. This support system allows for more flexibility and creativity in project work and allows them to execute on tasks through a creative problem solving approach. Siobhan and Jackson shared examples of how they navigated projects and overcame obstacles.?
“What I found most helpful was that everyone is always willing to set up a time to meet. No matter how simple or difficult the issue is, someone will always be on the other side to advise you or direct you on where to find the answers you’re looking for.” —Jackson Bartlett
“I remember I told my manager that I was really interested in analytics and asked her if there was any way to incorporate it into my responsibilities or take on a project. My manager placed me on a project that focused on analytics. This allowed me to explore my passion and it was amazing to see how my findings positively impacted the team! I think this helped me become a better salesperson, by not only limiting myself to my role, but expanding on my passion for analytics.” —Siobhan Buckley
What is the best part about the team/role??
Although Siobhan and Jackson share similar reasons as to why they enjoy being a part of LogRocket, they each hold unique perspectives as to what they see as the best part of their team and role.?
“I love that the team has a positive and healthy competitive nature. It is very supportive because we want to push each other to do better. It is a genuinely challenging role because as a startup people are being introduced to LogRocket for the first time ever. I learn so much by selling our amazing product and showing what LogRocket is able to do for potential clients.” —Jackson Bartlett?
“One of my favorite things I have done so far is attending conferences and speaking to prospects. I have been to both in person and virtual conferences. This has taught me about what potential customers are looking for and how to present LogRocket to others. As for the team, everyone is so much fun to be around and LogRocket always makes sure to give everyone the opportunity to meet and collaborate with people from different teams across the board!” —Siobhan Buckley
Siobhan and Jackson have different and unique experiences that ultimately led them to LogRocket, but one common thread they have is that both feel they have been able to grow personally and professionally due to the nurturing and supportive environment here at LogRocket. We’re excited to see the future initiatives they both embark on and how they will continue to positively impact LogRocket. We have doubled our revenue, saw record calls in 2021 and are excited to see what 2022 has in store for us!
