“From Cradle to Legacy: Embracing the Present in the Race of Life”
Life is a complex tapestry woven with various emotions and experiences. From the serenity of the womb to the myriad challenges and joys we face, each phase shapes us in unique ways.
When we are in our mother’s womb, we are shielded from the world’s complexities. But once we are born, we embark on a journey filled with:
As children, we often feel bored at home and think that going to school will be exciting. However, this doesn’t suit everyone, as some are happier staying at home. Moving on, we believe that school will bring happiness through friends and games. But soon, we realize that there’s more to it. The real game begins as we think we know everything. We become addicted to social media, new trends, and making new friends, all of which provide different kinds of knowledge and experiences in life.
We often think that going to college is the best path to independence, free from parental oversight that we experienced during school. However, as we grow older, we start fearing the future and work hard to enjoy life during our graduation years. The four years of a degree teach us many valuable lessons: cultivating a growth mindset
People often say that these are the essential skills for life. However, I believe that humans are mature enough to learn and act on their own, with each person’s life journey teaching them different lessons. We complete our education thinking that getting a job is the only way to enjoy life, but it’s important to remember that fulfillment comes from various sources, not just a career.
After getting a job, many of us initially feel a sense of accomplishment and relief. However, this feeling can quickly be overshadowed by the realities of the working world. We often face immense pressure to perform, meet deadlines, and achieve targets. The excitement of earning a salary can be dampened by the realization that it might not be enough to cover all our expenses or save for the future.
Moreover, the work culture can sometimes be stifling, with limited opportunities for growth and advancement. We might find ourselves stuck in roles that don’t challenge or inspire us, leading to feelings of stagnation and dissatisfaction. The lack of recognition and appreciation for our hard work can further contribute to our unhappiness.
In such an environment, it’s easy to feel disheartened and question our career choices. We might start to wonder if this is all there is to life—endless cycles of work without the fulfillment we hoped for. It’s important to remember that these feelings are valid and that many people experience them.
Finding ways to cope with these challenges, such as seeking new opportunities, developing new skills, or even considering a career change, can help us navigate this phase. Ultimately, it’s about finding a balance between our professional and personal lives and pursuing what truly makes us happy.

We often think that entering a relationship and getting married will lead to a happy life free from problems and tensions. Initially, the excitement of being with someone we love and planning a future together can be incredibly fulfilling. However, as time goes on, we realize that this new phase of life comes with its own set of challenges. The responsibilities of marriage can be overwhelming. We need to plan for a big house, manage finances, and balance our personal and professional lives. The dream of a perfect home often comes with the reality of mortgages, bills, and maintenance. These financial pressures can add stress to the relationship, especially if there are disagreements about spending and saving.
Moreover, the dynamics of living with another person can be complex. Compromises and adjustments are necessary to maintain harmony. Misunderstandings and conflicts are inevitable, and they require patience, communication, and mutual respect to resolve. The initial honeymoon phase gives way to the everyday realities of life, where both partners must work together to build a strong foundation.
As we navigate these challenges, we might also start thinking about starting a family. The desire to provide the best for our children adds another layer of responsibility. We strive to create a nurturing environment, ensure their education, and secure their future. This often means working harder and aiming for higher salaries to provide comfort and opportunities for our loved ones.
Despite these efforts, it’s important to remember that happiness doesn’t solely come from external achievements or possessions. True happiness lies in the moments we share, the love and support we give and receive, and the personal fulfillment we find in our passions and interests. Life is a continuous journey of growth and learning, and it’s essential to cherish the present while planning for the future.
Ultimately, while relationships and marriage bring their own set of challenges, they also offer immense joy and fulfillment. It’s about finding a balance, supporting each other, and growing together through life’s ups and downs.
After completing the house, we often find ourselves fearing the burden of bills and loans. Yet, we manage to clear them somehow. Then, we dream of having children—a daughter and a son—and focus on their growth and success. We strive to make them responsible individuals, just as our parents did for us. We think about their future, their education, and their careers, believing that we need higher salaries and more work to provide them with the best life possible
As we work tirelessly to ensure their comfort and success, we often neglect our own well-being. Eventually, we reach retirement, feeling a sense of emptiness and losing hope for the future. The stress and pressure we invited into our lives take a toll on our health, leading to various diseases. And so, the chapter of our life comes to an end, and we rest in peace.
This is the cycle of life—a race that doesn’t stop until we die. So why should we search for happiness in the future while leaving the present empty? It’s crucial to learn what you love to do and pursue it. Never learn or do anything solely based on society’s or your parents’ decisions. We shouldn’t strive to prove ourselves great to society by doing things we don’t enjoy. Instead, do what you love, and eventually, people will recognize your greatness.
