The Journey of Life

Last Friday my DIVVY Parking journey came to an end. It is not a goodbye, that would sound to final, a door closing. For my DIVVY family, the door will always be open!

My journey at DIVVY has been just over 4 years and been extremely interesting, to say the least! My thanks go out to Nick Austin for bringing me on board, and, in more recent times, to Grant Fowler for all his support and guidance.

There have been some rough patches, COVID among them, that only with the strong support of a close-knit team could be survived, and that is what the DIVVY family is, and all these challenges have made the team and the company stronger!

It would be remiss of me not to mention all the people I came across while doing my work at DIVVY. The commercial property industry folk, some of the nicest people you could hope to meet and work alongside, always willing to take a call and assist in an emergency. And my contractor crews, nothing too hard and no timeline too short, and they rarely complained when I wanted something done my way!

But I hear you say if it was all that good, why are you leaving? Well, things in life are never simple. Just when things are going awesome in your current role, and business is on the up, something unexpected comes out of the blue. In my case, this was one of those opportunities that was just too good to pass up! More about that another time.

So, it is a heartfelt thank you to all those lives I have touched in my adventure with DIVVY, and I am sure we will meet again in the future, both in and outside of business. Stay safe, and I will see you all soon!
