Journey so far

Yuga completed her BE (Electrical Engineering) with distinction in 2010. During the first 5 years of her career, she had the opportunity to work on project customizations using ERP software. ERP fascinated her and set the stage for her career in the tech industry.

Yuga then joined Softype as a Functional Consultant in the year 2016. Her career trajectory took her through various roles, from Junior Consultant to Project Lead. Today, she is involved in some of the company’s major projects and is the go-to person for several key tasks.

What helped her achieve her goals

Yuga's journey was not without challenges. Managing multiple projects and cross-cultural teams is no easy task. One must cater to differ time-zones, different work styles, different cultures and different processes. However, her determination, unwavering focus on the goal and persistent efforts towards achieving the same helped her lead complex projects successfully.

She has also highlighted the critical role of her mentors and the support of her colleagues in helping her grow professionally. In her opinion, a mentor plays a critical role in providing guidance and instilling confidence in a budding professional. She encourages budding professionals to be passionate about their work, have a long-term vision, and to always believe in themselves.
