The journey of leadership inspires us to do more and be more. Sometimes we feel let down by ourselves that we are not doing enough. It is never a question of quantity, but quality and the results we can deliver to others. I propose that we drop the mindset “the glass is half full, the glass is half empty”. Which half of the glass holds your attention?
The time has come to instill the habit of happiness in our consciousness. For that, we must walk the path for ourselves. The good news is that we are never alone.
The most valuable skills you need to learn are the importance of creativity, visualisation, and mindfulness in action.? With this viable path, we can easily learn how to generate mental clarity in order to bring mind and body harmony. At the same time, perhaps it is poignant to unlearn what we should never have learned in the first place.
Here are 5 unique business strategies to let you lead from the inside out
1. Forget 9-5. Jobs do have hours, but not like before. With remote work, we can better define how much time to put in. Quality wins hands down over quantity. We are not in reform school to be told you must stay at your desk until your boss goes home at 22h00.? What matters is the impact you create.

2. Job security is an illusion.? The new safety net is having the resilience to enhance your skill sets for growth.?Do you need additional training? Should you do an MBA or EMBA to boost your career? We say that you do. Examine your peers and leaders you admire. What have they done? How did they grow their careers? Success is paved with a solid foundation of training, principles, and values.
3. Perfection is an illusion. Perfection does exist, but not the way you think it does. Do the best you can. Everyone learns from their mistakes. Do what you have to do. Then let go of any possession of your actions. “He who sees action in inaction and inaction in action is wise among men”. Those are the words spoken by Lord Krishna to Arjuna. Wise words indeed to live by.
4. Network success. Collaboration beats competition hands down. Nobody works in a vacuum. We are all dependent on each other. Never be afraid to be thankful to those you work with for a job well done. Thankfulness and grace are the twin pillars of networking success. They are also the hallmarks of true leadership.
5. Love life. Life is everything. It is a successful career, but it is also living your dreams and enjoying your family and friends. Should you shovel everything aside and let your job take priority over everything else, you will live an unhealthy timeline that is always self-destructive. Better to learn this lesson sooner than later. You can do this. Europeans, as a rule, understand this better than North Americans. La dolce vita was not created in nothingness. It is a distilled essence with the perfume of aqua vita.
