Journey of lahoot.....

Journey of lahoot.....

Sindh is regarded as the oldest civilization of the world and is known as the land of Sufis (spiritual saints). People of Sindh are great followers of their traditions. One of the tradi-tions is Lahoot pilgrim which is one of the oldest journeys from Shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar (Sehwan) to Shrine of Sufi Shah Bilawal Noorani and Lahoot Lamakan passing through Bhit Mountain that have been endur-ing for centuries. This is the journey of devotion and love, where their loyalty cannot be challenged. Thousands of peo-ple leave from Sehwan and walk with bare heads and feet in an enormously high tempera-ture over 50°C for days to prove their sincerity. The shrine of Shah Noorani & Lahoot Lamakan are located in the west of Tira Hub stream in District Lasbela of Baluchistan Province. The shrine of Shah Noorani is easily accessible by road, while Lahoot Pilgrims (called Lahooti) prefer a diverse & difficult approach to test their passion by barefoot walking &crossing seven mountains of Kirthar Range to reach their destination. It is said that Lal Qalandar Shahbaz regularly visited Lahoot for worship. Every true devotee of Lal Qalandar Shahbaz makes his way to Lahoot to show his true love with him.

Visited Bilawal Shah Norani and Lahoot Lamakan Shrines this year and experienced a great spiritual journey there. Travelling from Norani to Lamakan walking through seven mountains is amazing.
