The journey has begun...

For a few days now, I have been responsible for Sales & Marketing DACH ITS as a new member of Trapeze DACH 's management team. I am getting to know my teams, our customers and, of course, our products and solutions.

Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), on-board and passenger information systems and ticketing solutions are still new territory for me, but I have already learned that Trapeze DACH has over 50 years of experience in the development and implementation of comprehensive operations control systems for higher punctuality, shorter journey times and more precise connections as well as dynamic passenger information.

Even though I really have a lot to learn in the coming weeks and months, being just as familiar with complex and large-volume tenders from public authorities and the associated effort as I am with managing sales and marketing teams definitely conveys a feeling of security... ;-)

The extremely warm and open welcome I have received from the members of my teams and all the other Trapeze employees I have had the pleasure of meeting so far makes my start much easier and encourages me to look forward to mastering these new challenges as part of a great team.

My calendar is already filled with numerous meetings, trade fairs and conferences, and I am looking forward to building up a new network in the field of public transport and its stakeholders in DACH, such as the Verband Deutscher Verkehrsunternehmen (VDV) and the Verband ?ffentlicher Verkehr (V?V) – Schweiz . The UITP Summit as well as the Trapeze Forum 2023 will certainly provide plenty of networking opportunities!

But now back to work - there is much to learn and do...
