The potential journey with Generative AI (Gen AI) and its impact on the workforce, drawing parallels with the historical evolution of computers and the internet.
As we know, computer operator was supposed to be a dedicated roles in organization and only few workforces able to operate computer but today we can’t imagine workforce without computer knowledge. Remember the days when lots of security concerns on internet from data security prospective, only few was allowed to use internet for specific purpose and rest of computer was isolated from internet. Today, we can’t imagine working without internet let it be from home to shop or hospital or school or anything’s around.
IMO, History repeating himself and Gen AI is going to take same place where internet is today. Gen AI is going to future workforce, and we will not be able to imagine a workplace without Gen AI accessibility. Like anything else early adoption of Gen AI will give cutting edge advantage to organization over competitor and organization can plan journey with Gen AI in 4 phases
