A Journey from Uncertainty to Deep Connection

"I always felt heard. But with you, I feel felt." These words from my client during closing call yesterday touched me deeply. They encapsulated the transformative journey we had embarked upon together. Initially referred to me by a colleague, she had come to me with a complex situation that seemed as fragile and fragmented as a broken mug. From the outset, her problem statement during our discovery call left me unsure if I was equipped to handle such a delicate situation. After some contemplation and weighing the potential for impact, I decided to take on the challenge.

Over the next four months, profound discovery and significant improvement unfolded. Each session was marked by deep conversations and a shared commitment to growth.

As we progressed, her transformation became evident. She began to unravel her thoughts and emotions, moving towards a healthier state of mind and discovering her own path forward

Her final words to me encapsulated the essence of effective coaching: creating a space where clients feel profoundly understood and valued. This journey reinforced for me why coaching is such a rewarding profession. It’s about making people feel not only heard but deeply felt.

Reflecting on this experience, I am reminded that true connection in coaching stems from profound listening—listening to what is said, what is not, the tone of voice, body language, and the most important-energy levels.
