The journey of Failure is Not the End!
Try and try and fail but never fail to try, Hope most of you would have come across this and let me tell you how this worked in my life. We started a business in the year of 2015. Basically, we are an IT service company we do web designing and app development, we are in the IT industry for more than 7 years and have done projects in almost 14+ Countries and offer 15+ Services.
The Downfall
Even after working so hard, our dream began to see a downfall. I was not getting enough leads. we tried to generate leads from multiple websites and spent nearly 75k but all in vain and I realised there is a gap in getting quality leads.
The Raise
Fortunately, one day I thought why can't we make a business out of this that's how “Business PaperDoor” was born. I started a lead-generating company. Initially, we faced a lot of challenges and setbacks, but we never gave up. We learned from our mistakes and kept improving our processes. We also invested in our team by providing them with training and resources to help them perform better. After doing lots of R&D we finalized our goals.
The Goal
We aimed to provide quality leads to businesses, which would ultimately help them in their growth. We put in a lot of effort to understand the needs of our customers and provided them with customized solutions. We also focused on building long-term relationships with our customers by providing them with excellent customer service.
Paperdoor to Business Paperdoor
I would like to quote one of the famous sayings by Steve Jobs “connecting the dots looking backwards” Yes, it is true. As a web designing company, we build so many client projects and internal projects and one such internal project is a business listing site named paperdoor.in. Four years ago, we just built it as a free business listing website and currently 20 to 40 businesses register daily on our business listing site now, we have more than 25,000 business registered with paperdoor.in and using our userbase and data we built business around paperdoor.in and we called it as Business Paperdoor (https://business.paperdoor.in)
Today, I can proudly say that we have a successful business model with a small set of loyal customer bases. We have been able to help many businesses in their growth journey, and that is the most rewarding part of our work.
How did we make it?
1. From day one we decided we should not sell shared leads and Our Mantra is “provide one lead for one customer” and not to share the same lead with multiple customers.
2. We started offering a basic Trial Plan from ?1500 /- for 10 to 15 leads and once customers are satisfied, they will upgrade their plan (Ranges from ?10k or ?20k).
3. We started providing a swap lead option. If the Lead is not relevant to your business you can inform our team and we will verify it and then we will swap it with a good lead for free.

4. We act as a platform between leads and customers. We share lead information directly with the customer via WhatsApp. Customers will receive a WhatsApp message with all the details about the lead Name, Phone no, Email, Category etc.
5. We will also share the business details with the lead's WhatsApp no So that the lead will know who is about to contact them.
6. Leads can be managed through dashboard CRM.
7. There is no subscription or lock-in period, so payment is under your control. If the customer is satisfied, they would become regular customers.
8. We offer all these at affordable cost and that is how we become people’s favourite lead-generating company.
Current Growth:
For the month of February, we transferred 4914 leads and our swap request accepted is 242 (4.9%) with lead data accuracy of 95%
Future:
We are expanding our team and trying to increase the headcount by 40%. We are deploying multiple tools to manage the leads and to help customers' businesses.
Takeaway:
So, the key takeaway from my journey is that failure is not the end. It is just a stepping stone towards success. It is important to learn from our mistakes and keep moving forward. If you have a dream, keep working towards it, and never give up. Success may not come overnight, but with hard work and determination, you can achieve anything you set your mind to.
