A journey ends, but another one begins

I help business owners improve their brand authority & visibility to fill their calendars with leads ??
The day I left my job, was a day full of mixed emotions of deep sadness for leaving the family I’ve worked with and learned from and a total excitement to start a new family adventure in Australia.
When I started working at Gourmet Gulf (GGC) 3 and a half years ago, GGC looked nothing like it is today; different people, different structure and a totally different experience. It was my first job in Dubai at a company that has more people than the co-founders and myself.
Looking back at the time I spent at Gourmet Gulf, I realized how mature I’ve become and how much I’ve developed on the professional level. I was able to build new skills, go through the process of understanding and defining consumer behaviours, learn more about running restaurants, understand financial terms like P&L, ASPH, COS and the list goes on. But the icing on the cake was getting to know all the great people I was fortunate to work with and learn from.
I was fortunate to be part of a multinational, multicultural team that helped me understand and deal with diverse cultures and eventually have friends from all over the world!
The experience I gained at Gourmet Gulf is priceless, I had the opportunity to build my own personal development plan which I promised to stick to achieving even after I leave Gourmet Gulf. I learned to always seek more skills, to be brave to admit mistakes and challenge myself to change. I believe that life has a lot of opportunities to offer so find your dream, believe in it and work hard to achieve it!
Working at Gourmet Gulf has helped me become a better person and enabled me to be prepared to start my new journey in a new continent that will definitely challenge me to seek and build more skills.
In the end, I’d like to thank everyone who supported me and helped me become the person I am today. I’d like to thank my Mentor, who guided me through the tough times and helped me find my own path. I’d also like to thank my team for putting “the team” first and for working together to make sure our targets were achieved, we were the dream team! I want to thank the leadership team, all the lead functions at the company, the franchisors and of course all restaurant staff and operations! Thank you for being my perfect work family, I will miss you all!
