A Journey of Cutting Ties and Rising Above for True Success

The hardest part of being me, is relentlessly sticking to my values.

Every day, 10 times a day I’m offered a kick-back, shortcut, cheat code, or some shit that would really help me, but is against the values I stand for.

I’ve had to fire employees over values

I’ve had to cut ties with friends over values

I’ve even fired clients over values

One of the values I live by is integrity. Integrity is really easy to explain. It’s always doing what you say you are gonna do, when you say you are going to do it.

Everyone has integrity to a point. Very few have true integrity in all areas.

Some dudes might have integrity in their business, but not their marriage. I can’t fuck with them.

Some people got integrity at home, but not in business. I can’t fuck with them.

To me, integrity is not a 50/50 thing. It’s 100 or nothing.

My biggest battle in life is staying in integrity when I know someone is lying.

Look guys, I did 3 years in 8 prisons. I’ve met every kind of con artist liar you can imagine. Lies may fool me for a minute, but that shit never lasts.

I’m not the type to just let someone lie to me though. I can’t pretend to go along with lies.

So I call people out on them, when they lie. There are two types of liars in this world.

1: When called out, they apologize, take responsibility, and own up to their mistakes. These people want to grow and change.

2: when called out they lash out, get mad, and lie even more to protect their ego. These people refuse to change.

I can deal with people in the first category. No problem we all make mistakes.

Those who fall under category 2 can kick rocks. I want nothing to do with them. Don’t want them anywhere near me. That shit they got might rub off on me.

So when you see me no longer rocking with someone, it’s cause I found out the truth and want nothing to do with it.

The longer you let liars remain in your life while you collaborate with their BS, the harder life will be for you.

Sure, liars will run off and tell lies about you too. But you know you; and who gives a fuck what a liar says?

Find some values and relentlessly stick to them at all costs. It can be painful short term but the long term pay out is unmatched.
