The Journey Back To Self
The journey of life begins and ends with you. This concept has been echoed from one century to the next. Illustrations like the Bible, Koren, and Bhagavad Gita, as well as illustrations of men like Aristotle and Socrates, point in the direction of self-discovery as the ultimate passage of life.
Life tends to push us around. As soon as we think we have life figured out a shift takes place. When the shift appears a state of confusion and despair ensues. Aren't we supposed to be in control of the direction of our lives? If this is the case where do our life lessons derive from?
When I walk through rooms empowered by a belief or notion, it is clear that the ideology supersedes the people in the room. Whenever we place anything before us, whether it is a belief, person, or materialism our grip of self starts to merge into those things. In an instant, our lives transform into things and ways.

The value of us is above anything that we can carry in our hands, on our backs, in our minds, or on our feet. Whatever we can pick up or put back down like a career or a bottle of water could never be greater than us. Life consists of molecules that are designed to reach their highest potential. Life resembles a caterpillar's metamorphosis into a butterfly.
We are always the caterpillar in the room and not the elephant. Life salutes us when we travel in the land with our true power and punishes us when we don't like in the Book of Job (Bible). The art of self-discovery is greater than any substance that can be obtained or lost. Move according to the spirit of self. Nothing in this life is greater than you nor are you greater than anything. There is a balance between you and the universe and it is waiting for you to tap into the source of you that is connected to it.
The art of self-discovery is that you are the discovery.
