We all carry the (emotional) scars of battles past and choices made; those battles and choices which were of our own making as well as those laid at our feet by varying circumstances over our many lifetimes.

There are those among us who have simply given up; fallen by the wayside and dropped out (for now), resignation showing in dull, lifeless eyes. While many more of us stand as ancient gnarled trees on a desolate, storm-swept coast... Bent, twisted and scarred, yet stronger and wiser for our experiences and our tenacity of Spirit.

You are a survivor......

Our stories may vary, the sources of our scars may differ, yet here we stand; living monuments quietly recording the endless seasons on this, our long and winding journey of (re)discoveries, enlightenments, and remembrances, back to Divine Source.

Yes the key to withstanding present struggles is to look back, briefly, and re-discover how we stood, our mental posture if you like, when we were younger/stronger. Rediscover and repeat!
